Itinerary
Day 1Makassar to Toraja
Meet your guide at Sultan Hasanuddin Airport and travel to Toraja. Stop along the way to see Bugis houses, have lunch and take a break at Puncak Lakawan. Arrive in Toraja and check in to your hotel.
Day 2Toraja cultural sites
Visit the tau-tau at Lemo and the cave tombs at Londa. After lunch in Rantepao, continue through Karuaya for a short walk to Kete Kesu, with its tongkonan houses and carved rice barns. Return to your hotel.
Day 3Weaving villages and short trekking
Visit Pallawa and Sa'dan To'baranna, then continue through Tinimbayo to the burial cave at Lokomata. After lunch, walk from Batu Tumonga to Lempo and visit the stone menhirs at Bori before returning to your hotel.
Day 4Return to Makassar
After breakfast, check out and return to Makassar by road, or transfer to Toraja or Palopo Airport if a suitable flight is available. Confirm the return route with our team.
